                    Director Dealings

The  Company was notified on 6 April 1998 that on 3 April
1998  Mr  Peter  Rae,  a director of  the  Company,  sold
100,000 ordinary shares of 20p each in the Company  ("the
Company")  at  a  price of 27.5 pence per Ordinary  Share
which  represents 1.61 per cent. of the  issued  Ordinary
Share  capital. Following this transaction Mr Rae  has  a
beneficial  interest  of 187,191  Ordinary  Shares  which
represents  3.02 per cent. of the issued  Ordinary  Share
capital.
