Declaration of Dividend

The Company's Board is declaring a dividend of 9.5 pence per share to be paid on 12 December 2012 to shareholders of record at 9 November 2012.

Approximately 1.1 pence per share of the dividend relates to the pass-through of dividends received from the Company's investment in F&C Asset Management plc, with the balance of 8.4 pence per share relating to a return of excess cash.

Following the payment of the dividend, the Company will hold cash and cash equivalents of approximately GBP8.6 million.
