Smithson Investment Trust plc announces that on 5 September 2024, it purchased for holding in treasury 183,541 ordinary shares of 1p each at a price of 1,431.72 pence per share.

Following this transaction, the Company has 37,821,546 ordinary shares held in treasury and 139,286,412 ordinary shares in circulation. The total number of ordinary shares in issue is 177,107,958.
