                        TOLEDO MINING CORPORATION PLC


Toledo Copper Corporation plc (AIM : TCU) announces that the resolutions put to
shareholders at the Extraordinary General Meeting held on 24 August 2004 were
passed.

Accordingly, the

  * Company's name has been changed from Toledo Copper Corporation plc to
    Toledo Mining Corporation plc; and
  * the directors are authorised to allot up to a further 1,546 million
    ordinary shares on a non-preemptive basis.
