Major Contract Win for Anix
Xploite plc ("Xploite", "the Group", AIM: XPT), the operator and aggregator of strategic and high growth IT services businesses,
announces that Anix, the Group's managed service and storage subsidiary, has secured a new contract with a major leisure organisation worth
2.8m in the current financial year ending 31 October 2008.
The client is consolidating its systems onto a new technology platform in order to reduce its operating costs and provide a more agile,
scalable infrastructure to support the next phase of its online business. The contract includes the supply of IBM hardware and software
licences together with Anix's own Technical Support offering.
Ian Smith, Xploite Chief Executive commented,
"A win of this type, during the current economic slow-down, shows the real value Anix can bring to an organisation; maximising
investments, reducing overheads and streamlining businesses."
Anix currently services approximately 220 customers in the UK across two network operating centres in Bristol and Manchester, and
expects to further develop these operations as its customer base grows.
