Reapra Aviation Partners launched this month, specializing in
high-value, low-cost strategic solutions for the region’s aviation
stakeholders. This Singapore aviation company will focus on
collaborating with partners in the aviation space and is led by
39-year old regional low-cost carrier veteran, Priveen Raj Naidu.
Priveen started his career with Tony Fernandes’ AirAsia in 2003 as
part of a two-man team that set up the airline in Singapore, and
thereafter with the group branding team. Post Airasia, Priveen has
taken on several key positions within and beyond the aviation
space.
Realizing that there is need to empower regional aviation
stakeholders, Reapra Aviation Partners will open the gateway for
economies in the region through improving the competitiveness of
these destinations and its’ key players. Their intent is to create
a new economy through reinventing and enabling new destinations
within Asia.
“We all know that transportation into any country is key to
opening up local economies. At Reapra Aviation Partners, we have
identified approximately 110 airports and 7 airlines that would
benefit immediately from our initiative. We will also be working
alongside governments to set up new airports and airlines to
increase distribution channels into their regions. Our motto of
Innovating, Enabling and Empowering is testament to our belief that
change does not need to be Expensive”, said Priveen. “The aviation
space has changed drastically over the past decade. It's no longer
about aircrafts and terminals only. In today's aviation commerce,
it's about marrying the commercial infrastructure, MRO, processes,
retail, branding and much more. With this in mind, we have put
together a consortium of experts from different industries. Reapra
Aviation Partners will be leading this team of Strategic partners
comprising DHL, Optimal Cost, The Gamechangers, GushCloud, Positive
Performance Consulting and an independent travel meta search
company to provide our clients, a one-stop shop,” Priveen
added.
“We are excited to bring this needed change to the region, and
believe that this step forward would add a new layer of destination
options for travelers. Tony redefined the way we travel in this
region through the introduction of AirAsia 15 years ago, and we are
now confident that through Reapra Aviation Partners, we can give
travelers more destinations and adventures to fly to. We are
looking to improve and turnaround 10 destinations in the next 8
quarters. We want to help our Asian neighbors increase their
passenger arrivals, and airlines to increase their load
factors.
Truth be told, we will need the blessings and the buy-in from
all the industry stakeholders, airlines and airport policymakers to
share this vision, but nevertheless, we remain undaunted and
confident that the ASEAN countries will share the collective vision
of One ASEAN United”, Concluded the chief of Reapra Aviation
Partners.
