A change is as good as a rest............................Kazakhstan has delayed the startup of crude oil exports from its giant Tengiz oilfield by way of the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan pipeline, four sources told Reuters on Friday.

Kazakhstan energy company Kazmunaigaz (KMG) has pushed back the restart of crude oil exports from the giant Tengiz oilfield after BP declared force majeure on crude oil loadings from the Ceyhan port.

"Force majeure was declared in Ceyhan, and (Tengiz) crude supplies to BTC were put on hold," a market source told Reuters.

NOT Oil, but ERL is not going up for at least 6-9 months due to supply imbalance. Unless airports, countries open up and planes start flying, its going to be a long haul. By that time, most US shale players will have bitten the dust. Its also problematic for KSA because the political and social turmoil will be even more costly for their puppet regimes. But they're a worthless banana tinpot so who cares if house of Saud is toppled.

Exxon Mobil (XOM -1.6%) and Imperial Oil (IMO -0.8%) say they have started bitumen production at the $2B Cold Lake Nabiye project expansion in Alberta.

XOM says the expansion adds ~20K bbl/day to what is already the largest oil sands operation in Canada, which could double to 40K barrels soon, bringing the total capacity to nearly 200K bbl/day.
