GDF Suez SA (GSZ.FR) is ready to develop its activities in Italy "with or without" its partner Acea SpA (ACE.MI), Chairman and Chief Executive Gerard Mestrallet said Thursday.

Mestrallet made the comment at a presentation to discuss the company's results and outlook.
