Canadian Dollar Rises Against Majors

The Canadian dollar strengthened against the other major
currencies in the early European session on Thursday.
The Canadian dollar rose to 96.69 against the yen for the first
time since January 21, from an early low of 96.22.
The loonie advanced to 1.3693 for the first time since September
2013, from an early low of 1.3773.
Against the Australia and U.S. dollars, the loonie rose to a
2-week high of 0.9693 and a 1-week high of 1.2405 from early lows
of 0.9634 and 1.2448, respectively. If the loonie extends its
uptrend, it is likely to find resistance around 99.50 against the
yen, 1.34 against the euro, 0.94 against the aussie and 1.22
against the greenback.
