The Australian dollar slumped against other major currencies in early Asian deals on Tuesday. At about 8:05 pm ET, the aussie traded at more than a 3-week low of 1.5752 against the pound, 4-day low of 1.3089 against the euro, and a multi-week low of 0.9825 against the loonie. Presently, the aussie is quoted at 1.5754 against the pound, 1.3100 against the euro, 0.9823 against the loonie.

The aussie is now trading at a multi-week low of 1.2974 against the kiwi and 0.9865 against the greenback.
