South African Rand Hits 6-day High Versus Greenback

The South African currency extended European session's uptrend
against its US counterpart during New York trading on Tuesday. The
rand jumped to a 6-day high of 7.3727 versus the greenback by about
12:20 pm ET, which may be compared to Monday's closing value of
7.4757. As of now, the pair is worth 7.4095. On the upside, 7.3699
is seen as the next target level for the South African
currency.
