On December 29, 2022, Millard E. Morris, a member of the Board
of Directors of AMERISAFE, Inc. (“AMERISAFE” or the “Company”),
advised the Board of Directors that he would retire as a member of
the Board effective December 31, 2022.
Mr. Morris, age 78, has served as a director of AMERISAFE from
1985 until 2005. He rejoined the board in June 2007.
Effective with Mr. Morris’s retirement, the Company’s Board of
Directors has reduced the size of the Board from nine members to
eight members.

On January 5, 2023, the Company issued a press release
announcing Mr. Morris’s retirement as a director of
AMERISAFE.
