standard
Okta, Inc. (NASDAQ:OKTA), the leading independent provider of
identity for the enterprise, today announced Zurich North America,
one of the largest providers of insurance solutions and services,
has successfully implemented the Okta Identity Cloud to securely
manage and streamline access to critical technology for its global
workforce and customer base. Okta also announced financial results
for its fourth fiscal quarter, and FY20, as well as new customers
and expanded partnerships in Q4 FY20, including Autodesk, Best
Western Hotels, Bremer Bank, Canadian Western Bank, Eaton, First
National Bank of Nebraska, Nomad Foods, NTT DATA, Nvidia, and
SmileDirectClub.
“In order to survive and thrive in today’s competitive
landscape, every company must become a technology company. As a
result, companies of all sizes and across industries are investing
in the technologies to streamline processes, reduce costs, drive
revenue, and protect their people and information,” said Todd
McKinnon, Chief Executive Officer and co-founder, Okta. “At Okta,
we’re committed to empowering the world’s largest organizations,
such as Zurich North America, to make this shift, while ensuring we
secure identities across their organizations.”
Zurich North America’s customers represent industries ranging
from agriculture to construction and include more than 90 percent
of the Fortune 500. The company was using multiple solutions to
manage identity and access for its employees and customers, and
recognized that standardizing would be critical to its digital
transformation. Zurich North America selected the Okta Identity
Cloud to consolidate identities across its 9,000 employees,
including corporate and field agents, and its customers. The
company was able to migrate authentication for 46 customer and
partner applications from on-premises solutions like CA SiteMinder
to the Okta Identity Cloud in less than two months.
“Zurich North America is on a mission to help our customers
understand and mitigate risk. In order for us to achieve this
mission, our customers and employees need to have secure access to
their critical information, whenever and wherever they need it,”
said Adam Page, Chief Information Security Officer, Zurich North
America. “With the Okta Identity Cloud, we now have a single
solution for managing identities and access for our workforce and
customers, enabling customers to seamlessly access their critical
information, and streamlining processes for our IT team.”
In the fourth quarter of FY20, Okta grew its total customers to
more than 7,950 organizations.
