As previously reported, Craig Haase notified the Board of Directors
("Board") of Royal Gold, Inc. (the "Company") that he would not stand for re-election as a director of the
Company at its 2017 Annual Stockholder Meeting. As a result, pursuant to its authority under the Company's bylaws, the Board decreased
the size of the Board from eight to seven directors, effective November 16, 2017.
