Building Turbines, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: BLDW) ("BT" or the "company"),
a developer of commercial building rooftop mounted horizontal-axis
wind turbines, issued a corporate update today detailing its
progress to date and strategies and priorities for the remainder of
2011.
According to John F. Graham, Sr., CEO of BT, the company is
looking to aggressively deploy its production model rooftop wind
turbine with a variety of early adopter customers and renewable
energy demonstration sites across the US. In addition, the company
is looking to improve the investor relations section of the BT
website, increase focus on the public sector, attract and retain
talented human resources, and broaden the BT support network
through strategic alliances.
"In today's arduous economic times, achieving a win-win-win by
investing in clean renewable energy that is distributed generation
(DG) in nature, saving bottom-line dollars by using fully paid for
yet unutilized roof space, and supporting an American start-up
trying to help reduce our dependence on fossil fuels, all at the
same time is attractive," said Graham. "Our plans are to continue
engaging world-class early adopter customers as well as increasing
our focus on the public sector. The BT value proposition casts a
wide net as it has economic, social and environmental aspects and
we are seeing solid interest in our technology and turbine from
corporate, commercial real-estate and governmental sectors. Another
area of focus for the company will be improving the investor
relations area of our website."
BT is also pleased to announce the promotion of Mr. Mark Berger
from VP of Engineering to Chief Technology Officer. Mr. Graham
states, "We are excited to have Mark as our CTO and look forward to
his continuing expertise and significant contribution to our
engineering and R&D efforts."
