LIVONIA, Mich., May 13 /PRNewswire/ -- The true test for underhood

"Performance and reliability are the key in racing," said Greg
Gyllstrom, vice president and general manager of Visteon North
American and Asian Aftermarket Operations. "The fact that nearly
100 percent of the NASCAR teams rely on Visteon radiators for every
race says a great deal about our commitment to performance and
reliability through design, technology and technical advancement."
Visteon's radiator racing cores include a high-efficiency design
requiring less airflow to transfer the same amount of heat as a
standard radiator. The design uses dimpled tubes to increase the
swirling action of the coolant, resulting in a faster, more
efficient transfer of heat. In addition, Visteon has added louvers
to the fin surface, increasing the ability to transfer heat away
from the engine. Consumers of new vehicles expect performance and
reliability under the hood as well. Visteon applies their leading
underhood parts technology for professional installers and
do-it-yourselfers through their aftermarket product offerings. This
same leading edge underhood technology is delivered to automakers
to meet the consumer performance expectations of new car and truck
owners. Visteon's technical expertise extends to other aftermarket
parts including glass and officially licensed NASCAR Performance
Windshields, GlideMaster products, and mobile electronics. Visteon
Corporation is a leading full-service supplier that delivers
consumer-driven technology solutions to automotive manufacturers
worldwide and through multiple channels within the global
automotive aftermarket. Visteon has approximately 72,000 employees
and a global delivery system of more than 200 technical,
manufacturing, sales and service facilities located in 25
countries. http://www.newscom.com/cgi-bin/prnh/20001201/DEF008LOGO
