BNI Burlington Northern Santa FE Corp.

Dow Jones Indexes said it will remove Burlington Northern Santa Fe Corp. (BNI), as the railroad company is set to be acquired by Berkshire Hathaway Inc. (BRKA, BRKB) on Friday.

Burlington Northern will be replaced by Kansas City Southern (KSU) on the Dow Jones Transportation Average. That index tracks 20 U.S. transportation stocks.

On the Dow Jones Industrial Goods and Services Titans 30 Index, Burlington Northern will be replaced by Canadian National Runway Co. (CNI, CNR.T).

All changes will be effective before the open of trading on Feb. 16.
