Security company Tyco International PLC (TYC) on Tuesday named
Robert Olson as its chief financial officer, replacing retiring CFO
Arun Nayar.
Mr. Olson, 56 years old, joins Tyco from Dish Network Corp.,
where he worked as CFO for five years.
Mr. Nayar, 65, will advise the transition and then retire at the
end of the year. Mr. Nayar joined Tyco in 2008 as vice president
and treasurer and was promoted to CFO in 2012.
In July, Tyco said its adjusted profit topped expectations in
its latest quarter, even as revenue continued to be hurt by
foreign-currency impacts.
Shares of Tyco edged 0.4% lower in early trade Tuesday. They
have fallen 18% so far this year.
