James D. George Named Vice President, Packaging, Hershey Foods Corporation HERSHEY, Pa., May 24 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Raymond Brace, Vice President, Operations and Technology, today announced that James D. George has been promoted to Vice President, Packaging. George is responsible for the structural and graphic design, development and procurement of packaging materials for the corporation. "Jim has provided nearly 20 years of outstanding service to Hershey Foods and this promotion is well deserved," Brace said. "He has built an exceptional team, and under his leadership the company has significantly reduced its packaging costs. He also served as Manager of Merchandising Packaging. He joined Hershey in September, 1984, holding positions in sales and sales management from 1984 until 1992.
