VRE Vanguard FTSE Canadian Capped REIT Index ETF

TORONTO, Nov. 17, 2022 /CNW/ - Vanguard Investments Canada Inc. today announced the estimated annual capital gains distributions for the Vanguard ETFs listed below for the 2022 tax year.  Please note that these are estimated amounts only, as of October 31, 2022, and reflect forward-looking information which may cause the estimates to change before the ETFs' December 15, 2022 year-end tax date. 

These estimates are for the year-end capital gains distributions only, which will be re-invested and the resulting units immediately consolidated, so that the number of units held by each investor will not change.  These estimates do not include estimates of ongoing monthly or quarterly cash distribution amounts. 

Vanguard expects to announce the final year-end distribution amounts, on or about December 21, 2022.  The ex-dividend date for the 2022 annual distributions will be December 29, 2022.  The record date for the 2022 annual distributions will be December 30, 2022 and payable on January 9, 2023.

Please note that for the VBU, VBG and VGAB ETFs, Vanguard expects to announce the final year-end distribution amounts, on or about December 19, 2022. The ex-dividend date for the 2021 annual distributions for these ETFs (VBU, VBG and VGAB) will be December 23, 2022.  The record date for the VBU, VBG and VGAB ETFs will be December 28, 2022 and payable on January 5, 2023.
