TEE Triple 8 Energy Ltd.

Tarik G. Elsaghir, who is a director of Triple 8 Energy Ltd. (TSX VENTURE:TEE)
("Triple 8"), announced that he has acquired an additional 100,000 common shares
in the capital stock of Triple 8. As a result of the acquisition of such shares,
Mr. Elsaghir now owns 430,000 common shares in the capital stock of Triple 8
representing approximately 13.07% of the issued and outstanding common shares of
Triple 8 Energy Ltd. 


The common shares were purchased by Mr. Elsaghir on the TSX Venture Exchange.
Mr. Elsaghir acquired the securities for investment purposes only and may,
depending on market and other conditions, increase or decrease his beneficial
ownership, control or direction over, or exercise his current rights to acquire
common shares or other securities of Triple 8 through market transactions,
private agreements or otherwise.
