XL XXL Energy Corp

Warrior Energy N.V. ("Warrior") (TSX VENTURE:WEN) and XXL Energy Corp. ("XXL")
(TSX VENTURE:XL) announce that Warrior has acquired for US$2,000,000 a debt and
mortgage security owed by XXL. The transaction was fully described in a
previously published joint news release dated November 24, 2008 and was approved
by the TSX Venture Exchange on November 24, 2008.
