Dongfeng Peugeot Citroen Automobile Co., a joint venture between French car maker PSA Peugeot-Citroen (UG.FR) and China's Dongfeng Motor Group Co. (DNFGY) will recall 37,699 vehicles in China, China's quality regulator said Friday.

The recall involves two separate models of cars due to problems with their driver-side airbags and battery cables, the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine said in a statement.
