MIAMI, FL--(Marketwired - Mar 31, 2014) - Novus Acquisition & Development Corp (OTC Pink: NDEV) (PINKSHEETS: NDEV) Novus has executed an agreement to have Victor Behar of Physicians Management Network "PMN" for its Medical Marijuana "MMJ" subsidiary and other healthcare related services. PMN is a national healthcare service company with a staff of professionals that have expertise in compliance healthcare, technology, financing and management of healthcare systems. Mr. Behar will join NDEV's Board of Directors and guide management in full compliance and business cycle encounter process to identify and develop business opportunities to complete and accurate documentation within the MMJ industry.

Mr. Behar has enhanced our business model from services of "Seed to Sale" to "Script to Sale." This approach is a HIPPA complaint process where physician generate prescription to patient with certain medicinal needs in Pharma grade MMJ. This will allow doctors to participate in a prescription module to become more familiar with the affects of MMJ on patients through testing and direct doctors to the right treatment. More importantly utilize Mr. Behar's expertise in the area of risk management that will reduce waste, abuse and fraud that we predict could plague the MMJ industry.

Mr. Behar's experience that is synergistic to the MMJ industry is addressing the concern of higher volumes of workers compensation claims arising from the legalization and increased medicinal use of cannabis. By implementing DNA testing for patients, enabling physicians determine best outcome and, compounding laboratory services for the implementation of alternative delivery methods in compliance with physician orders based on contraindications and best outcomes for patients.

Mr. Behar has a long and distinguished record of accomplishments in the healthcare field. In the early 90's, he founded Managed Care Insurance Consultants, "MCIC" which has grown to be a first class insurance risk management company. It also has grown to service national insurance companies in the area of Medicare, Medicaid and Commercial customers through its partnerships with physicians of all specialties in the South Eastern United States. His executive management experience includes responsibility for financial and operational performance, all aspects of healthcare delivery systems, network development and contracting. Mr. Behar is also responsible for managing resources and maintaining a high level in the quality of care and service within the company.

Mr. Behar currently is the owner of several healthcare related companies; he previously was an Assistant Vice President for CAC-Ramsay's Workers Compensation Division, later acquired by United HealthCare. A graduated from Florida International University, Accounting and Finance, an MBA from Hertford University; we welcome him to the Novus family.
