Canadian private-equity company Onex Corp. (OCX.T) is in the early stages of reviewing a possible sale of its home health care services firm ResCare in a deal that could fetch as much as $1 billion, Reuters reported Monday, citing people familiar with the matter.

Onex is working with investment banks Goldman Sachs Group Inc. (GS) and Jefferies on the potential sale, these people said.
