STOCKHOLM--Swedish industrial group Sandvik AB (SAND.SK) said Thursday it has been awarded a SEK450 million materials handling contract in Australia.

 
   MAIN FACTS:

-Contract will contribute to Sandvik Mining's business for the period of the years 2014 until 2016.

-At 0813 GMT shares traded 0.9% higher at SEK85.85.
