Disperse Technologies Group plc ("Disperse" or "the Company") - Appointment of
Finance Director

Disperse announces the appointment of Tony Williams as Group Finance Director
following its recent move to AIM from OFEX.

Tony, 41, joins Disperse having worked as the Associate Director of Acorn
Corporate Finance advising the Company on its recent placing and acquisition.
Previously he was with the Ellis Hayward Group, a multinational business service
provider, backed by a leading UK private equity house, where he was Group
Finance Director for 3 years. During this period, he oversaw the successful
restructuring of the group and its return to profit.

Tony has extensive knowledge of the financial issues facing a group operating
within the international marketplace, having previously been Group Finance
Director, based in Italy, of an Italian OEM automotive electronic components
supplier with pan-European operations.

From December 1989 - January 1996, Tony was a senior member of the Deloitte's
corporate finance team based in the North West of England.

Colston Herbert, the Chairman & Chief Executive of Disperse, commenting on Tony
William's appointment, said:

"Tony has the necessary mix of skills and experience to add real value to the
Disperse board as it commences its growth strategy and the integration of
Elizabeth French, which we acquired last month when we listed on AIM."
