Directorate change

Fishing Republic, the fishing tackle retailer, announces that Russell Holmes, Finance Director, has tendered his resignation as a director of the Company in order to take up another position. Russell will remain with Fishing Republic until mid-March to ensure an orderly handover. A Group Financial Controller has been appointed for an interim period, until a permanent successor is recruited. He has already been working with Russell and the wider team as the Board's operational improvement plan is implemented.

James Newman, Executive Chairman of Fishing Republic, said:

"I would like to thank Russell for his contribution to the Company over the last two years and wish him well in his future career. The Board has appointed an experienced finance professional, who is already working in the business, as Group Financial Controller until a permanent Finance Director is appointed."
