Notifiable Interest in Shares

Healthcare Enterprise Group PLC ("HCEG" or "the Company") was notified on 22
March 2007 that Nigel William Wray, through S&F Nominees (Isle of Man) Limited,
Pershing Keen Nominees Limited and PIHL Equity LLP, has direct voting right
interests in 3,120,931 ordinary shares of 2.5p each and indirect voting right
interests in 14,078,905 ordinary shares of 2.5p each in the Company, being
approximately 1.03% and 4.66% respectively of the issued ordinary share capital
of HCEG of 302,216,720 ordinary shares.

This disclosure is made as a result of a restatement of Mr. Wray's historic
interest in the Company in compliance with the FSA's new Disclosure and
Transparency Rules.
