| On 28 January 2009, Ennismore acquired 497,500 Somero shares, resulting in  | 
| an increase of its shareholding in the Company to c.10.5%, thereby          | 
| triggering the 10% threshold. As a result of this, Ennismore became a       | 
| substantial shareholder in Somero and a related party for the purposes of   | 
| the placing of new Somero shares ("New Shares") announced earlier this      | 
| morning (the "Placing"). Therefore Ennismore should be included in the list | 
| of substantial shareholders and related parties in the placing announcement | 
| released earlier this morning, disclosing that it had subscribed for        | 
| 2,838,600 New Shares issued as part of the Placing.                         |
