Spantel Expands Services and Increases Revenues FUENGIROLA, Spain,
June 15 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Spantel Communications, Inc.
(OTC:SPAL) (BULLETIN BOARD: SPAL) , a provider of
telecommunications services within Spain announced today they have
expanded their services and are now providing nationwide Directory
Assistance services. All telephone customers, regardless of their
selected carrier, can use Spantel's new service to obtain
government, business, residential and cell phone listings. In
addition to directly marketing this service to Spantel's 350,000
registered customers, the company can offer this service as a
branded product to other operators/carriers who may not have the
license or resources to offer this product. The company will
utilize their state-of-the-art call center, with operators who have
been cross-trained in telemarketing, customer service and directory
assistance. As Spain has experienced a dramatic surge in population
from around Europe, customers will be able to speak with operators
who are fluent in Spanish, English and/or German. The company
expects that their costs associated with this service will be lower
than similar services in Spain due to our multitask platform and
our expertise in customer service. The company anticipates having
the capacity to handle in excess of one million directory
assistance inquiries annually. Additionally, the company reported
that revenues for May increased 24.5% to $1,718,554 versus
$1,379,374 in the same period last year. The company also reported
profits for the 13th consecutive month of $105,287. Management
