Board Reorganisation

Starvest PLC (LON:SVE), the London Stock Exchange AIM listed specialist mining and resources investment business, is pleased to announce changes to its board.

Highlights

-- Non-Executive Director, Gemma Cryan, appointed as Executive Director bringing extended corporate and technical capacity to Starvest PLC;

   --     Executive Finance Director, John Watkins, becomes a Non-Executive Director 

Callum Baxter, Chairman and CEO commented: "I am very pleased to announce the appointment of Gemma Cryan as an Executive Director of Starvest. Gemma has over 15 years relevant industry experience in both mineral resources and oil and gas projects and brings other valuable corporate management expertise. Also, I thank John Watkins for his continued long standing support and service to the Company."

Board Changes

Starvest has appointed former Non-Executive Director Gemma Cryan to the position of Executive Director of Starvest with immediate effect. Gemma Marie Cryan, holds formal qualifications in geology including BSc (Hons) in Earth Sciences and has over 15 years industry experience in both mineral resources and oil and gas projects. She has worked with private and public companies throughout North America, Europe, Australasia and Africa in the field and assisting with corporate matters. Gemma is well versed in pre-IPO activities and early stage mineral ventures and has relevant corporate proficiency.

John Watkins, former Executive Finance Director, has been appointed as Non-Executive director of Starvest with immediate effect. John is a chartered accountant and a former partner of Ernst & Young and Neville Russell. He has many years relevant experience as a public company director and as Finance Director of Starvest plc. John has been a Director of Starvest for more than 15 years. The Company thanks John for his long standing service to the board of Starvest and we are very glad to have him with the Company in a Non-Executive role. John will continue to provide oversight and advice on financial matters.
