Total Systems plc (the 'Company') 
Transaction in own shares 
The Company announces that on the 16 September 2009 it purchased 25,000 ordinary 
shares of 5p each in the Company ('Ordinary Shares') at a price of 24 pence per 
share. These shares will be held in Treasury. This purchase equates to 
approximately 0.24 per cent of the Company's issued share capital. 
Following the purchase, the Company holds 25,000 of its Ordinary Shares in 
Treasury and has a total of 10,494,553 Ordinary Shares with voting rights 
(excluding shares held in Treasury) in issue.
