DIRECTOR APPOINTMENT
US Solar Fund plc (LON: USF (USD)/USFP (GBP)) is pleased to
announce the appointment of Thomas Plagemann as an independent
non-executive director of the Company with effect from 29 June
2020.
Thomas is the Chief Commercial Officer and Head of Capital
Markets for Vivint Solar, and he has over 25 years of experience
originating and executing financings and investments in renewables,
energy and infrastructure assets in the US and globally. He has
been involved as advisor, debt arranger, or equity investor in
projects with capital costs in excess of $30 billion at companies
including First Solar, a leading solar developer and manufacturer,
AIG, GE Capital and Deutsche Bank.
Thomas also brings valuable industry perspectives from his role
on the Board of the Solar Energy Industry Association ("SEIA")
since 2013 and his current role as Chair of the SEIA's State Policy
Committee. Thomas is based in New York.
Thomas does not own any shares in the Company.
Gill Nott, Chair of the Company, commented:

to the Board and the Company as it develops and grows its strong
portfolio of solar assets in the US."
