                        Board Changes

The  Board  of  Vocalis Group plc, the international  speech
technology group, made the following statement today.

Charles  Halle, Group Chief Executive, who was appointed  to
the  Board  in  January 1998, has decided  to  pursue  other
opportunities and has confirmed his intention to resign from
the  Board.   In  addition  to his  role  as  Group  Finance
Director, Paul Wright will assume additional duties as Chief
Operating Officer of the Group.
