Vodafone Acquires Two New Spectrum Licenses in Greece

LONDON--Mobile communications company Vodafone Group PLC
(VOD.LN) said on Tuesday that it has acquired two new spectrum
licenses in Greece for 124.5 million euros ($157.79 million) to
expand and enhance its 4G coverage in the country.
The company's Greece unit has acquired spectrum in the 800
megahertz band and 2600 megahertz band in an auction coordinated by
the country's telecommunications regulator.
The licenses are for 15 years.
At 1455 GMT, shares were trading 0.36% higher at 195 pence.
