At 5.00 am ET Friday, the European Commission has published economic confidence survey results. The euro changed little against its major counterparts after the data.

The euro was trading at 124.02 against the yen, 1.1922 against the greenback, 0.8925 against the pound and 1.0811 against the franc around 5.05 am ET.
