PR Newswire (US)
BOULDER, Colo. and RANCHO SANTA MARGARITA, Calif., Oct. 13
/PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Patron Systems, Inc. (OTC:PTRN) (BULLETIN
BOARD: PTRN) and Vangard Voice Systems today announced that Patron
Systems will utilize Vangard Voice System's AccuSPEECH(R) software
integrated with Patron System's FormStream public safety mobile
computing software to voice enable its automated field reporting
process. This announcement is being made at the International
Association of the Chiefs of Police annual meeting in Boston. The
software integration will allow first responders to be "hands-free"
in the field, obtain or log emergency data quickly, and reduce the
risk to police officers. Patron System's FormStream platform is
widely used by law enforcement and public safety agencies across
the country to collect and share information from the field. Voice
recognition functionally is yet another form of data collection in
addition to bar code readers and magnetic stripe inputs. Vangard's
AccuSPEECH software will be an integrated part of Patron System's
core solution offering. "Our goal is better communications among
police officers and law enforcement agencies," said Robert Cross,
CEO, Patron Systems. "We are introducing voice recognition as yet
another tool for inputting data directly into incident reports. We
are taking full advantage of leading-edge technologies that are
available today and in the future, to maximize the efficiencies of
our FormStream solution, all of which will increase public safety."
"Incorporating voice-recognition capabilities into the automated
field reporting solution that Patron Systems provides improves
workflow especially when officers are faced with tasks that demand
that their hands and/or eyes be engaged with the work at hand,"
said Bob Bova, CEO of Vangard Voice Systems. "We are pleased to be
working with Patron Systems and empowering voice as an input
solution for their products." FormStream will be showcased at the
113th Annual IACP conference in Boston, MA on October 15-17. Patron
Systems will be in Booth #953 and will also be hosting two panel
discussions on standards-based information-sharing. Vangard
marketing staff will also be available to discuss the new
partnership. About Patron Systems, LLC Founded in 2002, Patron
