               Beaufort International Group Plc (the "Company")

                                    Placing

The Company has today raised #165,000, before expenses, by a placing of 165
million new ordinary shares in the Company at 0.1p per share.  The placing
provides additional working capital for the Group.

Application has been made for the 165 million new ordinary shares to be admitted
to trading on AIM and dealings are expected to commence on 11 December 2003.
