Hyflux: Won US$50.4 Million Contract From Saipem's Saudi Arabia Unit to Build Desalination Plant

SINGAPORE--Hyflux Ltd. (600.SG) said Tuesday it has won a
contract worth US$50.4 million to build a seawater reverse-osmosis
and sulphate-removal plant from a unit of Saipem S.P.A. (SPM.MI) in
Saudi Arabia.
The plant will be built at Khurais oil field, about 150
kilometers northeast of Riyadh, and will be completed in one year,
Hyflux said in a statement to the Singapore Exchange.
