PR Newswire (US)
CHICAGO, Feb. 11 /PRNewswire/ -- Cars.com announced today it will
provide dealers with news updates and trends live from the 93rd
annual NADA convention that begins this week in Orlando, Fla. A
daily video recap will offer highlights from the event and feature
advice from dealers and industry experts attending the show.
Cars.com will offer even more advice from the convention in a live
webinar at noon EST on Feb. 19, recapping the top news and
highlighting the trends to watch in 2010. "Given the current
challenges in automotive retail, we want to help dealers -
especially those who can't attend the convention - stay on top of
the conversation," said Mitch Golub, president at Cars.com. "The
industry issues and trends discussed during these few days at NADA
will shape our success in the months ahead. It's critical that we
both understand and know how to act on them." Dealers can tune into
show highlights each day of the convention on the Cars.com Dealer
Center at http://dealers.cars.com/nada. Those interested in
attending the free, post-show webinar, "NADA 2010 Recap: What's New
to Help You Fuel Sales," can register at
http://dealers.cars.com/live. The webinar will be hosted by Michael
Page, Cars.com vice president of advertising products, who will be
joined by a panel of experts, including: Steve Finlay, editor of
Ward's Dealer Business; Jeff Kershner, founder of
DealerRefresh.com; and Ralph Ebersole, a Cars.com automotive
consultant. Participants will discuss the hot topics and trends
raised at the 2010 NADA convention, including: -- The state of the
new- and used-car marketplace and sales projections for the year
ahead. -- Emerging technologies that help you reach internet
shoppers and fully merchandise your inventory. -- New sales
processes that engage car buyers and encourage them to purchase
from you. "We're committed at Cars.com to equipping dealers with
the tools and real-world advice they need to win more deals and
earn higher profits," Golub said. "As consumers increasingly return
to market, we're focusing on the tactics that help dealers reach
ready-to-buy shoppers and boost their sales performance." This year
marks the 12th consecutive year that Cars.com has exhibited at the
NADA convention, which opens this Friday and continues through Feb.
15. The theme for the annual event is "Vision for Tomorrow." In
support of that initiative, Cars.com will participate in NADA's
