Dollar Steady Ahead Of Durable Goods Orders Data

The Commerce Department is scheduled to release its durable
goods orders report for June at 8:30 am ET Wednesday. Economists
expect durable goods orders to have fallen 1.3 percent
month-over-month, while excluding transportation, orders may have
been up a modest 0.3 percent.
Ahead of the data, the greenback held steady against its major
rivals.
The greenback was worth 1.0993 against the euro, 1.3099 against
the pound, 105.72 against the yen and 0.9943 against the franc as
of 8:25 am ET.
