Hungarian Forint Strengthens Against U.S. Dollar Amid Central Bank Decision

During European deals on Monday, the Hungarian forint
strengthened to 198.06 against the U.S. dollar. The current quote
for the greenback-forint pair is 198.12, compared to Friday's close
of 198.77.
At 8:00 am ET, The Hungarian central bank announced that it
lowered its key policy rate by 25 basis points in February. The
rate cut came in line with economists' expectations.
