Greenback Slips To New Multi-week Low Against South African Rand

Against its South African counterpart, the dollar traded lower
during New York deals on Friday. At about 2:40 pm ET, the pair
touched 7.3850, which may be compared to yesterday's closing value
of 7.4735. This set a new multi-week low for the US currency.
Currently, the dollar is trading near 7.4075 versus the rand. The
dollar has been in a downward channel against rand since February
25, 2010.
