ADP Names Maria Black President, John Ayala Chief Operating Officer

Automatic Data Processing Inc. on Wednesday said it has promoted
a pair of top executives, naming Maria Black president and John
Ayala chief operating officer.
Ms. Black, 47 years old, joined ADP in 1996 and has been the
president of worldwide sales and marketing for the Roseland, N.J.,
payroll processor since February 2020.
Mr. Ayala, 55, joined ADP in 2002 and has been president of
employer services North America since February 2020.
Carlos Rodriguez, who has been president and chief executive of
ADP since in 2011, remains chief executive officer.
ADP said Ms. Black will receive an annual base salary of
$800,000, while Mr. Ayala will receive an annual base salary of
$700,000. Both executives will receive annual bonuses with a target
of 150% of their base pay.
