On November 3, 2022, MidCap Financial Investment Corporation (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing its financial results for the quarter ended September 30, 2022. The text of the press release is included as Exhibit 99.1 to this Form 8-K.

On November 3, 2022, the Board of Directors of the Company changed the Company’s fiscal year end from March 31 to December 31, effective December 31, 2022. Accordingly, the Company will file its next Annual Report on Form 10-K for the fiscal year ended December 31, 2022 (the “Annual Report”) with the Securities and Exchange Commission. The Company will include the necessary financial information for the transition period from March 31, 2022 to December 31, 2022 in its Annual Report.
