TracVision Antennas Provide Satellite TV Reception Previously
Unavailable with Smaller Antennas KVH Industries, Inc., (Nasdaq:
KVHI) is changing the rules for maritime satellite TV in and around
Mexico with the introduction of its new Sky Mexico-configured
TracVision(R) satellite TV systems. For the first time, boaters are
able to enjoy satellite TV service in Mexico using an antenna as
small as 18" in diameter thanks to KVH's new Sky Mexico
configuration and its award-winning antennas like the TracVision
4-HP with High-Performance (HP(TM)) tracking. Sky Mexico is already
the most popular satellite TV service in Mexico with almost 1
million subscribers and demand is expected to increase dramatically
as DIRECTV Latin America, previously the only option for mariners
in the region, prepares to discontinue its service to Mexico. Sky
Mexico's powerful satellite provides English and Spanish-language
programming as well as coverage as far south as Panama. As a
result, mariners fishing along the Mexican coast, wintering in Cabo
San Lucas, or cruising to Panama have a new choice for
uninterrupted satellite TV entertainment thanks to KVH Industries.
"Not only does our new configuration substantially increase the
satellite TV antenna options available to mariners but we also
expand the number of smaller vessels that could potentially be
equipped with one of our TracVision solutions in Mexican waters,"
explained Ian Palmer, KVH's executive vice president for satellite
sales. "We are extremely pleased to be stepping forward with our
new Sky Mexico-configured TracVision satellite antennas to ensure
that boaters in the region have uninterrupted access to the
entertainment, news, and sports that they want. At the same time,
our Sky Mexico-configured 24" and 32" TracVision systems will
receive Sky Mexico as far south as Panama as well as offer extended
offshore coverage." KVH's TracVision systems are Digital Video
Broadcast (DVB(R))-compatible, offering excellent satellite
tracking and a range of capabilities to suit any vessel. The
TracVision G4-HP (18") and G6-HP (24") antennas combine
antenna-mounted rate gyros, CONSCAN signal strength tracking, and
the award-winning KVH GyroTrac(TM) Digital Gyro Compass to provide
the fastest satellite acquisition available. For those who want a
single-component configuration, the TracVision 4-HP (18") and 6-HP
(24") offer the same integrated DVB design as their counterparts
but without the GyroTrac sensor package. The 32" TracVision G8
offers a carbon fiber antenna and GPS positioning for faster
acquisition reception even when cruising farther offshore. The
TracVision 4-HP's predecessor, the TracVision 4, was the five-time
winner of the National Marine Electronics Association's (NMEA)
"Best Satellite TV Product" award, while the TracVision line as a
whole has won the award for seven consecutive years. Details on all

filed with the SEC. KVH assumes no obligation to update its
