Item 8.01. Other Events.

 

On December 21, 2022, FG Financial Group, Inc. (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing that the Company’s reinsurance subsidiary, FG Reinsurance Ltd (“FGRe”), has formed a reinsurance sidecar, FG Re Investors I LLC, to provide collateralized capacity to support its growing reinsurance portfolio. The press release is furnished herewith as Exhibit 99.1 and is incorporated by reference herein.
