Ryan's Restaurant Group, Inc. Reports Sales Results for September and Third Quarter 2004 GREER, S.C., Oct. 1 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Ryan's Restaurant Group, Inc. (NASDAQ:RYAN) today reported sales results for the 4-week period ("September") and the three-months ("3rd Quarter") ending September 29, 2004. Same-store sales decreased by 2.9% for the month and by 3.1% for the quarter. At September 29, 2004, the Company owned and operated 338 restaurants. Financial results for the third quarter 2004 are expected to be released on October 20, 2004.
