                      Board Change


In a further restructuring of the board following a year of significant change,
West Bromwich Albion PLC announces that Brendon Batson will be stepping down as
an executive director and as an employee of the club. There have also been three
additional headcount reductions to complete an administrative reorganisation, as
the club prepares for next season's campaign in the First Division.



Commenting, Jeremy Peace, Chairman, said:

"Brendon has made an important contribution to stabilising our operation in the
last year.

Regreattably, there will not be a sufficiently meaningful role for Brendon in
the future and we have therefore faced up to what is a very difficult decision."


The board wishes him every success with the new challenges he takes up in the
future.
